We have been working in the horse business, every aspect of it, for the past 20 years. Our father, Luke McKathan, is a legend in his own time. One of the most important things he taught us was to constantly innovate and find a better way. Each horse is an individual with individual needs. We took the foundation that he gave us, have built upon it exponentially and taken it to the next level.
Our operation has evolved into a full service facility where we break and train 100 yearlings/two year olds, foal out about 35 mares a year and raise yearlings for our customers.
We advise our clients on which horses to buy, which stallions to breed to, which stallions to stay away from, which trainers to go to, which insurance companies to deal with, which young sires have a future, where to stay at Del Mar, where to eat in Saratoga and how not to get on the wrong side of Indian Charlie.
